Stupid moments for Friday

Oh, I always do the "thanks, you too" thing. Or automatically say "your welcome" sometimes too. Like the other day at work, I was picking stuff up off the printer and a girl came over whose printing was mixed up in mine. I leafed thru and handed it to her and she jsut took it and walked away. I said "your welcome". And I wasn't even trying to be snarky. It was a reflex.

oh my goodness, i definitely do this!

along those same lines sometimes i will say outloud what i am expecting the other person to say instead of what i should say. like if someone holds the door open for me i will say "your welcome" instead of "thank you". talk about feeling like a moron!

i really feel like i have some serious head issues now!

There were a few of us sitting around playing board games, but cousin was sitting next to a friend of mine - him on the couch, her on the floor. They know each other, but are not close friends. She's leaning on his leg with her arm up over it and then starts holding his hand...meanwhile, her husband is sitting across the room!!! We all started busting out laughing...it was completely innocent...just out of habit with her hubby!!! Hmmmm...maybe it's not as funny if you weren't there! But we all still laugh about it!

I totally did that with an old boss of mine. He looked at me, and asked me what I was doing? Ummm...I was trying to get your attention.

I was at a co-workers wedding and my (new, different from story 1) boss greeted me by kissing me on the cheek. Awkward, but I decided to go with it and kissed him back, but he turned his head and ended up planting one on his lips. His wife wasn't working and she turned around when we all started laughing, and she was like "What?" I totally felt bad for years, but then he did it again to one of my other co-workers. Now I know to just stick to hugs with him. He's a sneaky one.

so it just finished being slushy and was warm enough to wash your car so there was a line of 3-4 cars for every stall for those do it yourself car washes. yup locked my keys in the car while i was washing my car. whoops.

think the stupidest thing i've ever said was 'how do they do the olympics every 4 years when one of them is a leap year?' riiiight, extra day in the year, not extra year.

i've also searched high and low for my sunglasses to find them on top of my head.

A few years back.. a movie I rented was going to be late if I didn't return it that night, but I had already gotten ready for bed - took my contacts out, put my pj's on and some face mask on a few blemishes on my face.. So, decided to jet over to the rental place really quick and drop it off. Felt embarassed about my glasses, so I took them off before I hopped out of my car to drop the video in the box. When I got back to my car realized I locked myself out.. I was in my pj's, blurry vision with weird stuff on my face. I had a hide-a-key under my car.. so I was crawling around under my car to find it and some people came to see if I needed help. I was so embarassed.. ended up having to borrow some change to call my brother from a pay phone and bring my spare key... all so I could save $4 on a movie late fee..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
