I absolutely LOVE this story and the local news media has been going crazy over Susan Boyle. I admit that when I first saw the post of "Singer shocks Simon" on AOL over the weekend, I ignored it because I judged her based on her looks like so many others. When I finally decided to play it, I was AMAZED -- I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, so here's the You Tube link:

I was almost in tears when I watched that video! I too thought it was going to be a comical terrible performance and at the end of it I felt terrible for judging her so quickly!

I think this woman is fantastic and she has the most beautiful voice...it was such a wonderful surprise!

Ok i finally watched and OMG i seriously got teary eyed...she was amazing and it was soo good!!

It reminds me of the other winner of that show Paul Potts......youtube him. He did the same. He didn't "look" the part but when he sang he got a standing ovation. Amazing.

My favorite is Connie Talbot the six year old who made the judges cry. She's AMAZING! for six years old!
