Quick question --> I like your bridesmaid dresses esp. the different colors. I'm going for a similar look with three different solids....where did you end up buying your BD dresses? Thanks! Stunning photos! Congrats! :)
Thank you cheesy.gif actually none of the dresses are by the same designer. Most of the girls bought their dress on shopbop.com, but none were from the same designer. The MOH dress (long two toned one) was DVF, the dark purple was Alice+Olivia, Pink was Foley+Corinna, Navy was Loeffler Randall and Edyta's lighter blue was BCBG. cheesy.gif I just asked my BMs to only buy 100% silk, solid, cocktail and in the color I gave them. I let them decide the rest including price range. Hope that helps!

Ahh I reconsidered mine about a dozen times!!! honestly don't reconsider, when all the alterations are done and your dress fits so perfectly on you, you will fall inlove all over again cheesy.gif My dress was Marisa, but I had the material changed to a cafe silk satin instead of the ivory taffetta

  • 2 weeks later...

OK I am getting married at the church this July! My question to you is what music did you have, or did they let you bring your own music and did your girls have to cover their shoulders? Oh and how long did the ceremony last? Oh did you have to have all the things that come with a customary catholic wedding like, sponsors bible, coins, lasso, etc... Pls help on this note!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
