I'm a Realtor in Houston and I've been in real estate for 11 years. I've never seen the market as bad as it is now! There are so many people that would love to switch places with you. I have a friend in Dallas who has had her home on the market for 8 months. She got married 7 months ago and moved in with her new husband, but is still making the mortgage payment on her old place.

So..... have a glass or, if necessary, a bottle of wine and try to relax. Call your family, friends, bridesmaids and groomsmen and enlist their help in getting you packed and moved.

Congratulations on the sale!

Things are finally coming to a close. My closing is tomorrow, but I am having to pay about $1500 in closing costs and was really hoping to at least break even. But it could be worse and I am thankful that it is sold. My two classes are over and I don't start my next session until May 9th! Finally have time to breathe. I leave to go visit family & friends in GA for my bridal shower and I am so excited.

Right now, the only concern I have is adjusting to living with my fiance! Not that it really is a concern but there is an adjustment period and I am learning how he likes things done around his place. I keep having to remind him that it is "OUR" place now and not just his apartment.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
