Hi!

 

Has anyone created a comparison chart to review potential DW locations?

Maybe I'm a total nerd, but I'm in the process of starting one to help make our decision a little easier and I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone else has done this...

 

If not, once I'm done I'll post the file for other newbies to check out! idea.gif

 

I'm going to compare top hotels for Jamaica, Mexico and DR...This might take a while....

I didn't do a chart, but I did do a Word Doc with pricing on a bunch of hotels in Mexico and Jamaica, PLUS I have a PowerPoint of hotels with Amenities and Pricing from a vacation my friend and I were going on last year that I did research on that has DR and Jamaica....if that makes me a Nerd so be it. I can look for those and post them up as well.

That is awesome! While i'm not quite as organized, (didn't note spas, golf courses or number of restaurants) here's mine. I didn't do the "top" resorts per location, just resorts i've found that fit our requirements to some extent. We want an AI that's relatively affordable. I also noted the flight prices (pricing three weeks from today, since I just made it today) from Denver to the locations. It's only an approximation but good info to have as well. I can't believe flights to the dominican republic are almost $1200?!?!?! Going somewhere else could mean a bit nicer resort....

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
