I tried to repost a write-up of our wedding hotel from my blog but the pics aren't working for me here. My write-up with pics is here: Wedding Planning Is Killing Me: We're back!

I highly recommend our wedding hotel, The Gansevoort Turks&Caicos and am happy to answer any questions from prospective T&C brides.

Hi Karol,

The hotel looks fantastic. I am in midst of planning my wedding for T&C next year. I am considering either having it in March or April. Can you tell me how the weather was when you went? Was it warm enough to swimming and not cold at night?

I appreciate any advice you can give to me!

Look forward to seeing more pix from your wedding!

Hi Karol,

The pics of the hotel looks amazing!

TCWed10 - where are you getting married?

I'm considering getting married in Turks & Caicos and having a hard time finding a resort that is All-inclusive. Can anyone suggest a place? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks!

My top three choices are the Sommerset, Grace Bay and Regent Palms. None of these are AI. The only AI i found were Beaches and Sandals. I think the Sands might have meal plans as well... It's a beautiful island and I really want my wedding here, but the cost for our guests might be more then expected. If you find a great AI, let me know.

TCWed10, the weather was really perfect. Everyone hung out on the beach, swam and snorkeled all day and then evening was beautiful, no sweater or wraps required.

Winnie, I think the only all-inclusive you're missing on your list is Club Med. I didn't visit any of these but I think they are the only 3 ai on the island.

Breakfast was included in our Gansevoort stay and they hooked up a 10% off deal for our guests at the restaurant. You can negotiate stuff like that with your hotel (and, again, the Gansevoort were really, really willing to work with us), especially depending on the time of year you have your wedding.

Hi Michelle,

Yes i'm also highly considering Beaches T&C. Did you get a good wedding package (if you don't mind me asking)? We are also considering pushing up the wedding date to April 2010 now since we just found out November is a wet month!

I love the beaches at T&C but wish there were more AI resorts sad.gif

Club Med and Beaches are the only all inclusive here on island. However a lot of the resorts do have different plans that may include meals. I know Ocean Club and Ocean club west have had actual meal plans. A number of hotels are including meals right now as an incentive to book (even Amanyara sent out an email last week that includes meals for certain dates, of course at their prices it still is way over the top for most LOL). Check around, there are a lot of deals to be had.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
