I fell in love.
Here is a true story...My Sister got Married in2002.
When we went with her to pick out her dress..A girl came out of the dressing room with this Princess dress..It was strapless and sparkly up top and the rest of the dress was all tool.
I told my mom and sister that when I got married, THAT was my dress! I even said I was going to buy it now because I wouldn't change my mind.
When it came time for me to try on dresses, I thought a dress like that one would look silly on me...But girls..It was the ONE!! I tried on about 8 - 10 dresses and I did like a majority of them..However..there was no doubt this was it.
AND i even got a Veil and jewlrey tonight too!!!
Here is the dress and a Veil..It's not the veil I bought though....I am so happy!!
Thanks for all of your support!!! :-)

OMG!!! I LOVE YOUR DRESS!!! I just now found this thread today and was feeling your pain as I have been feeling like, "I don't love my dress anymore". But I think I have come to terms, and I am hoping when I get it altered we can do some magic. It is too big in the bust since my sales lady said I should go up a size to accomdate the girls (D cup). Well, I have lost weight and the bust doesn't fit as tight and nicely as it did when I tried on the sample. Anyhoo...I just need to find the right bustier and be sure to tell my seemstress my concerns. I love the syle of my dress, but not the fit since it is too big on me.

Well, honey, you look amazing! Perfect choice! Congrats, I am so glad to hear it all worked out. I am glad I am just NOW reading this thread because I got to go through the all emotions, but I get the happy ending without the wait!!! hehe

I am so glad it worked out and you are happy!

Aww thanks!!
ya know..even if it's just a little bit big, it really does make a difference and can make you not like the dress!!
Make sure you get it all altered the way you want it and I am sure everything will work out great!!
My Problem was very clear after last night...I should have tried on a couple poofy dresses the first night. But I stayed away from them. This was my mistake, but now, I can't stop staring at my dress..I so love it :)
Thanks again girls!
And thanks Jill for updating this thread! :-)

Ahhh..I feel like everything is coming so fast now! Probably because I am so much happier...What a difference a new dress makes.
Oh and Ladies, As much as we all have our gripes about David's Bridal...They exchanged my dress without a question asked.
I did have left over credit, but I used it for the Veil, Slip and Jewelry and everything worked out great :-)

once it is altered properly i'm sure you'll be much happier ... fit really makes such a huge difference in the appearance of a gown. haha i think i liked my dress a lot better when it was the sample that i couldn't even zip up all the way ... it was so tight in the rib cage and all, that my waist looked itty bitty! too bad all the beading was practically ripping out, LOL.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
