I'll post some pics in the morning. Today has been brutal and right now, I just wanna eat something and catch up on messages.

I'm not over worried about selling it..if no one here wants it, I'll put it on Ebay next week. I already did that once and the dress sold in like two days for forty bucks more than I wanted to get. Thats one reason it doesn't worry me to buy online...there's always someone who wants a gown that doesn't work out for another bride! This is dress #3..lol. I should probably be ashamed to admit that, but hey..I'm keeping one of 'em.

As promised...some shots of the gown. Light being what it is this time of day I had a hard time capturing detail, but used the macro setting to get as much as I could. The dress is clean...I can't even see that it's been tried on. It's in pristine condition, including the hem and underskirting. I wouldn't think it would even need a cleaning for a wedding, but that would be up to the bride. For whatever reason, they cut the size tag in half...but only the size tag. lol I guess a lot of salons do that...no idea why. It's a 12 though.

Tried to get some "validation shots" showing the designer's label and such. lol

Awww Savannah it's beautiful, and that totally sucks you bought it under the guise that it was described as being ivory -- clearly it's not, it's white as snow and that chick needs to take that layer of fog off her eyes, lol.

Anywhoo, I'm sure you'll get a buyer with ease, the dress is gorgeous!!

I've absolutely no idea how to answer this. lol It felt pretty much like every other bridal gown I've ever handled...not a destination gown, but a regular wedding gown. It's satin, lace and tulle...so...I guess maybe you could hit any local bridal shop with a Tolli or Sottero sample of the same materials and see what it feels like to you. It's very common weight to me...didn't feel any heavier or lighter than anything else I've looked at and I've looked at WAY too many at this point. lmao

I know, right?! I'm still "salty" about it...what the hell was SHE on that day? She made a big deal of it too, saying she ran to the warehouse to look again "just to be sure". I pulled this thing out of the box and my eyes teared up from the glare .....thats just how freakin white it is. hahaha!

I wish I had known about this before I bought my dress a couple weeks ago. I am going to wear this dress :) It is amazingly beautiful and light, perfect for a beach wedding. I got it in the ivory/spun gold colour.

Anyone thinking about buying this dress definitely should, it is GORGEOUS!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
