OMG that's funny. I started the same thread a long time ago about the tire tread rings, but what we ended up getting my husbands is the other choice that you have, only in white instead of black.

ETA - I think whatever he likes is fine. Who cares if some people thinks its "bogus". Eff them. Plus, men's rings are so cheap, why don't you buy him both!

I bought him the carbon fiber one when I asked him to marry me. So, he has that one. But he says he wants something different for a wedding band. I said okay and started my hunt. I came across the motorcycle tire tread rings and fell in love with it.

Lol I'm on it - FI wants another ring for when he goes on tour - i'm just pissed I had to buy the £160 one when £7 would do lmao

i think he should have a wedding band he loves. after all, you want him to *want* to wear it all the time, right? who cares what anyone else thinks? for instance my FI bought both our wedding bands off ebay for a grand total of $60. they are just cheap sterling silver rings, so i'm sure someone will have something negative to say about it. i don't care, because i love that he picked them out (they are matching and are engraved with "mo anam cara" which means "my soul mate" in irish gaelic ... he considers me his "soul mate?" awww *swoon*).

although i have to add that i really like the one you proposed with.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
