For you ladies who used Neysa I see she charges by the hour. How many hours did you book her for? I'm trying to decide between her and Suzanne Morale. Any help would be appreciated..thanks!!

Hello! I received prices by the individual, when I got a quote...interesting. As well, the response time from Neysa wasn't that great - it took me at least a week to get an email response. Any time I get in touch with Suzanne Morel, she calls me right away - speaks very good english :) I really like both Neysa's work & Suzanne's - I booked with Suzanne since she is very professional & organized. Hope this helps! I think whoever you choose will do a fantastic job!!!!

Thanks Abby! Yea I like both of their work alot. But I think I read somewhere that Suzanne doesn't come to the resort if it's a small amount of people being serviced. Which means I would have to go to the salon. It's going to be just me and my MOH and I wasn't trying to leave the resort. So I wanted to try Neysa. But I like them both. Decisions are a headache!

Would you mind posting or PM me w/the hourly rate you were quoted? We're in the early stages of planning and still deciding on a venue, but it would help to know approximately how much to allocate in the budget for hair and make-up. I figure we'll need 3 or 4 hours for 4 people...two of which are 11-12yr olds so makeup will be minimal.

I believe Suzanne's crew will come to the resort with a minimum of 4 services. If you have yourself and your MOH and you each got hair and makeup, that would be 4 services! I am the only one in my group getting anything done so I went with hair, makeup, manicure, and pedicure which ended up working out perfectly for their minimum. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
