Hi Everyone,

I am desperatley seeking other brides that are considering getting married here or have been married at PP. All I could find were some old posts about it. If anyone can give any insight, it would be great.

I really love the property and the location, but am concerned that I cant find many people that have anything to say about it.

Hello! I am getting married at Beach Palace, and I have only talked to one other bride that is getting married there. Don't let that influence your decision. Check out tripadvisor.com and see what other people have had to say about the resort.

Just an FYI, the wedding cords are very slow at getting back to future brides. Once you are about a month away, you will have no problem getting in contact with her. Since we are also staying at a Palace resort, we have the option of spending the day at that resort too. We are going to check it out.

Good luck with your planning!

Hi Josie~ Thanks for the info. I too am from an Italian family, and will be having about 75-80 guests, but will be having a private function. Who told you that there was a max of 40 guests? I have been in contact with DIANA MARTEN she is a Wedding Sales Assistant for the palace resorts, and hasn't mentioned a word, which is concerning. I am going to have to tell her again...thank you for the info.

Hi Tanya,

Sorry for freaking you out! I just went back through my emails and the issue was not that the limit in general was 40, it was just that I was in love with that terrace deck thing overlooking the ocean, and that location within Playacar couldn't hold more than 40. Again, I apologize, I should have reviewed more before posting! I still love the resort and think it's absolutely gorgeous!

Hello,

I am not getting married at the Playacar Palace (we are going with the Iberostar). However, I stayed at the Adventura Spa Palace for a week last May. Since the Palace resorts are linked we did spend an afternoon at the Playacar Palace and had dinner at their Italian restaurant. The resort was BEAUTIFUL! I have some pictures (maybe 5 or 6) of our time spend there. If you would like to see them shoot me an email at jlj1176@yahoo.com.

If you decide on the Playacar Palace I am sure you will be very pleased with your decision!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
