I was just there this past week for my wedding and we wound up at Mandala which is on the same street at the Blue Parrot and it was excellent! Oscar was out front and coaxed us in with free drinks and we followed because the place was so nice and modern looking inside and the music playing was awesome! It was dead when we got there but by about 11pm it was packed! We were out for my stag and the guys ended up coming in later, because it was the only place in all of Playa that night that was happening. We were pretty lucky we stumbled across it. The dance floor is very cool, the service was fantastic and the drinks were cheap! The only link I could find online for it is this one on you tube

Again...I would highly recommend it!

Can you elaborate on these "personal reasons?" hehe

We are just back from our wedding in Playa and it was amazing!!, anyway I will let you girls know on my blog coming up soon, I am just writing here to give a little advise concerning the nightlife. Somebody in this forum recommended us to check out the Playacrawl for a bachelorette and we did. we booked through them and had an amazing time, they took us to most of the places that are recommended on this thread, we started at Blue Parrot, than to mandala and ended up at Brahama , o it was so much fun the only thing bad was the bad hangover next day lol. But since its all you can drink all night some of us abused that power, but there is nothing the hot sun the white sand and a beer can cure next day. Well if you guys want to experience the nightlife playacrawl is a great way to do it,  have fun you guys, we did :) .

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
