I'm having a hard time thinking of what kind of table numbers I'd like because I want to them to have a Mexican flair so I'm thinking of just having the place cards put on the tables and having the guests find the on tabels as oppossed to going to a seating chart table etc... Would this be okay? I'm only having like 30 guests so there will not be too many tables anyway.

I am having the same dilemma right now!
I just want something simple, I don't think it would be bad at all to NOT have table numbers and just put each placecard at the tables...I am thinking about doing the same thing!

I also only have 30 guests. I was actually thinking of the contrary : not doing place cards, just a list of who sits at which table. We have only 4 tables. I was thinking of letting people decide... not letting them completely in the dark as to the table (otherwise it's going to be a mess), but not tell them where to sit...

After much debate, we are going to use pics of us as kids for our tables. Not sure yet whether they are going to be organized by age (6 months old, 2 years old...) or by theme (artists... vacationing... doing sports), but this is the idea.

I think that would work for 30, but 60 would be too much. I've been to weddings with 80 guests where they did that and it is hard because you end up sitting with people you don't know. With 30, good odds everyone knows each other - especially bc at a DW they've had time to meet. With 60, that might be pushing it.

I'm having about 25 guests and have decided to assign each guest to a table, rather than an "assigned seat". Since I don't want to carry too much down with me, and I don't care all that much about personalizing everything, we are going to incorporate the place cards into the favors. Each favor will have a ribbon with the guests name and table assignment. They can find the table and sit where they want to. I'm not sure what we're going to do for table numbers/names, but I like the idea of using places that are important to us as a couple.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
