Leg sweat

When I went for my first fitting a couple weeks ago, I noticed that my inner thighs started to get pretty sweaty while the seamstress was poking at me. This got me thinking that I need to figure out a solution. One, I can't be sweating there all day. And two, well, I don't have tiny little legs, so they're going to rub together and all I can picture is having nasty chaffed legs by the end of my wedding night! Ew!

 

At thisp oint, all I am wearing under my dress is panties. I don't need Spanx and there's no way I'm wearing pantyhose to solve this problem. What can I do? I feel like I'm going to end up wearing bicycle shorts under my dress!

My MOH was really worried about this when she got married a few years ago, She ended up just wearing some lacy boy short undies, but she said she was not sweaty on her wedding day like she was at the fittings, so it was not big deal.

 

I have seen in other threads girls buy the something like runners lube, that runners use to prevent chaffing.

I was a sweaty beast since it was like 90 degrees and had some leg sweat, but no chafing. I just wore my regular underwear underneath as well.

but because i cant for the life of me remember what the thread title would be, and because it happens to me too ill post what i do:

 

soft-solid deodorant like "secret conditioning solid". it works miracles. i use it when i play soccer, or wear tights for work, or any activity where i know my thighs will sweat/rub and get uncomfortable.

 

because its creamy its easy to apply in places like, um, not crotch? areas, but right near there. you can get unscented if you are worried about, um, reactions, near that sensitive place

Hanes Hosiery > Hanes PantyHose, Nylons, Hose, ShapeWear, Shapers

 

My inner thighs rub together just enough to drive me crazy. I knew I would be hot on my wedding day and not wanting sweaty thighs rubbing together! I love this product because it isn't super snug and more like nylons without the legs and feet. They were not hot to wear either.

My inner thighs always sweat in the summer (eww, gross, I know.) What always works for me is baby powder. I put it on all the "problem" areas when I get out of the shower. Let me tell you it works like a charm every time. Just bring a travel size to tuck in your bag and reapply throughout the day if need be.

My legs were dripping with sweat the day of the wedding because it was so hot. I didn't have any chafing going on though. It was just super gross because the inside of my dress was sticking to my sweaty legs! Yuck!

 

This topic is funny because it never even crossed my mind that this would be a common problem but I guess it is!
