Hi guys I posted before about my Maggie Destination dress that I bought (RD1044). I'm still waiting for it and still nervous about it. It seems that none of the stores have the dress to try on, so I was wondering if anyone has recently tried the dress on with pics. I want to see how it looks on a "real person", not the airbrushed models. I'm nervouse because I've never actually tried the dress on and anxious to see what it looks like to see if I need to start looking for a new dress. Plus, the dress looks different in the magazines than it does on theMaggie website.
I sure hope this is truly the dress because it is gorgeous in the pictures.

I tried on the dress but I didn't take any pics of me in it. I'm 5'6'' and found it kinda dwarfed me, which was a surprise since I thought the empire waist would have an elongating effect...

The fabric is light, gorgeous, flowy and comfortable. The flowers can also be removed from the shoulder and worn just below the bust for a different look.

yea, someone sent me a picture from here ( I can't remember who) but it was hard to see, but I think she mentioned something about it making her look short. Actually from what I could see, it made her look short and the flower part was kinda awkward. I guess if I don't like the flowers I can remove them and put jewels in the front like the maggie sottero ireland dress Ireland - by Maggie Sottero

I tried on the Ireland too and it was so pretty. Perfect for a DW, with a similar flowy, light chiffon. If it had a corset back I would have chosen it.
Actually, the 2 dresses are quite similar and on me, the Ireland was more flattering.
