We are only staying at our resort for one week, so we plan to go on a honeymoon for our 1st anniversary!

We are staying a week but our guest will only be with use for the weekend so we will have 4 days after the ceremony just the two of us.

We are going to a different resort for our honeymoon. Our wedding is in Montego Bay and then we will go to Negril for a week for the honeymoon.

We are going on our "weddingmoon" for 10 days. We will be at the resort for 5 days before the wedding and 4 days after. Most of our guests will arrive 3 or 4 days after us, so we will have our alone time "honeymoon" PRIOR to the actual wedding. Then we can go home and recover and go back to work after 4 more days! Being at a family resort, we don't mind that we will be there the entire time. We want it to be as simple and stress free as possible!

We are trying to decide whether we should just stay at the resort or go somewhere within an hour or so! Do you get a lot better deals doing a "weddingmoon" as compared to a honeymoon?

A weddingmoon is actually what SANDALS/BEACHES calls their wedding packages. I dont think the deals would be any different, but its really more what you both want and how much traveling you want to do vs. vacationing.

We'll be at the resort for a week, with all of our guests, then a week on our own, with a Platinum room and Platinum privelages. A few of our friends will still be around for a few days into our honeymoon (they booked on a different package), but I made it known they shouldn't count on seeing us! lol
