Actually, I am the 3pm appt. So if you could leave some for me, I'd love it! Thankee!

I've been up on my feet since about 5am, and just got home- 13 hour days suck. I was really too tired to go to the store. As it is, I need to go get a pedi, and am thinking of just painting my toes instead. You know you're tired when you're too tired for a pedi....

It actually turned out to be a bad day for us.

We were robbed literally 5 mins after leaving the hotel. DH had the rolling suitcase and he'd put my laptop bag on top like hanging by the carry strap suitcases have. We got to the intersection of Congress and Plymouth (one block up from Dearborn going towards State and Michigan) and they unhooked our bag and ran as we were waiting at the light. A cabby honked and yelled but the person got away. Right there in broad F*********** daylight, no one tried to stop him or anything. So I lost my laptop, my digi cam, just a ton of stuff. Software on the laptop, pics...you get the idea. Prob 5-6k worth of stuff if you tally the bag, lappy, accessories, software installed, etc.

Called the cops (had to come back to the hotel lobby to get the PD number) and walked back to the area so that we could give accurate info, but had no pen and paper on me to write down the incident number. Now the PD has no record of it. And the cops are making us seem like WE did something wrong. It's just been a nightmare. I seriously just want to cry.

I mean, yeah, the person didn't try to mug us, and we have our health and each other still; but I still feel very violated....I can't describe it.

I keep thinking of everything we could have done different....

OMG, that is horrible. I' am so sorry. I for once I'm at a loss for words. I guess the bright side is that you guys were unharmed so that's a good thing.

Ladies, I had a blast hanging out with each and everyone of you, you each had a little soemthing that made your shoots stand apart from the others, and that's awesome from a photographers stand point. I loved working with you, and just scrolling through the photos on the train ride home, you girls were smoking hot and I know your men are going to love them. Katie did an amazing job on everones make up, and Trish and I love each other like sisters, we have a great working relationship. :-) (love ya girl)

I will hopefully start edting tomorrow, I know there are several of you getting married on or before November, so Trish and I will do our best to get your photos out to you as soon as possible.

Nikki! I am SO sorry to hear about that. It's absolutely terrible. I cannot believe that happened and that is pure rotten. Thank goodness he didn't demand anything from either of you. What a shame! And I remember your laptop quite vividly because it was so cute. I'm really sorry.

Nikki that totally sucks! But now I'm so intreged and interested that your FI was with you. Did he sit in on the session? Did he know what you were doing?

Trisha, Tammy, & Katie rocked yesterday! I am so excited to see my pictures, I can't believe how nervous I was going into it and then how comfortable I felt after like 5 minutes!

I think Nikki was going to surprise her FI, however he guessed what she was doing and like me, she can't lie very well :-) So she told him he was right. He took her to the room, but wasn't at the session, we don't allow men during our sessions. 1. because we have other women there as well and 2. Cause even though the guys know about it, they still have to wait to see the photos. :-)

Tiffany we hear that at every shoot, and seriously in a matter of minutes they are usually no longer running into the bathroom to change their outfits. :-) Plus I think it helps that Trish and I act like an old married couple. lol I mean she is the only other person I have slept with since I have been married. lol

Trisha and Tammy, thank you sooooooooooooooooo much for such an awesome appointment on Saturday! You guys rocked it! I felt so comfortable with you guys right away and Katie did such an awesome job on my makeup. I actually had so much fun that I told my best friend I def. want to do it again!! Maybe for the one year anniversary :)~!!

And thank you for finding my shoes after I left them in the hotel room by accident and working with my aunt to come and get them. That was so nice of you guys. I felt like a totally airhead since I walked into the bedroom to see if I left anything in there, but I must have had shoe blinders on.

I am sooo excited for my pictures!! I know I am probably going to be the last one to get mine since my wedding is in May, but by any chance will we get any teasers in the meantime??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
