Is it SO hard to ask.....GEESH!

Recommended Posts

Jax...I am in the processes of trying to get ahold of the twilight books. I saw the movie first...which is a BIG no no for me...I normally don't do that, but I had to watch the movie first to make sure it was okay for my daughter to watch it. After seeing the first movie, I changed my Facebook status to: "Anybody have the Twilight books I can borrow" HaHa. My cousin is going to loan them to me...just a matter of when can I get over to her house to get them. I SO want to read them...I don't want to have to wait for the movies to come out to see what happens next. This Twilight craze came so fast.....it just HIT me.

She emails me this morning to see if I am here so she can bring me my book. I shot her an email back right before lunch and told her I was here but would be out at lunch and she could just leave the book on my desk. I get back to my desk and see the book.......it is covered with stains all over it and pages folded down. Is it so hard to ask that you return something in the same condition that it was in when it was loaned!?! This just bursts my bubble!
Someone did this to me with my Memoirs of a Geisha book...I had to turn away so she wouldn't see the tears in my eyes, I was so upset. I may be a bit of a freak, but my books are like my babies, it actually causes me physical pain to see a creased spine or a bent page. I was on the bus once and saw a woman with her copy of Outlander bent all the way backwards and I almost had a panic attack.

Like I said, I may be a freak, but it's still uncalled for. It's someone else's property.

if you like anne rice.. have you checked out the Twilight series yet? .. i really didnt think id like them.. but i Loved them!! ... Bachatabride, if your not too into erotic.. this series is a little bit softer.. doesnt get very 'informative' til the last book! :)
She does the Twilight Series!!?? I had no idea!!! All I've heard for the last while is Twilight & I never new what it was all about! I have a hard time doing something that is mainstream or really popular! (just a little quirk I have I guess!!) But maybe I'll have to do it this time since it is Anne Rice!!
Thanks!!

OMG!!! I read the Sleeping Beauty trilogy in high school also! Boy was I shocked out of my mind! I led a very sheltered childhood so I was completely taken by surprise when I read those, LOL! They are definitely a good read though. I have them upstairs...Hmmmm...I might just have to find them to take another read. It's been years!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
