I've been thinking about this lately since I'm about to take BD pics. I want to post some here atleast for a while & allow the photographer to use some on her site as long as they are pretty tame. I'm just wondering if it could come back to haunt a person. I keep thinking about the izzy posted on the elevators incident in the first season of grey's anatomy :)
I haven't heard of it before, I was just worried it could come back to haunt me. I think that it will be okay as long as I'm not nude smile29.gif

I am an elementary school teacher, and I say go for it too. I'd agree with the advice of the other girls though. You have to have your personal life of course, but you wouldn't want them all over the internet. I'd discuss your concerns with your photographer first so she knows that there needs to be a limit to what she is using.

I think it sounds like a great opportunity! You were smart to initiate this with your photographer! As with any contract you should both sign a mutual agreement regarding the terms. You can ask her to write in that your photos will not be posted online/ will not include your full face/ that you will agree to any photos she wants to make public, etc. Get it in writing so you can rest at ease!

If they are only going to be in a book I don't see any problem at all. If they were out on the internet you never know who will get a hold of them, but a book that stays in her studio I'm sure you can feel ok about that.

You can't have it both ways though. As a photographer I would not be too happy if I paid for everything, including an $800 hotel room expecting to use the pictures in my portfolio and then was asked to only use profile and pictures from behind.

I agree w/ the girls. They aren't going to be on the web. But if she can use your photos for others, hopefully she can get more girls to do it and then make a book w/ other girls in it as well. Or maybe you/photog could find some other girls and make it like one of the group BD shoots so she can have different girls

I just had my BD pics done. I am so glad I did it. I was very nervous, and I didn't know how I would feel about the experience, but I am so happy I went for it. I would say the only people that will see yours are people that are interested in having their own BD pics done. I don't think they would be judgmental.:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
