How do you get excited about changing your name...

 

Dont get me wrong I want to get married but I've had my name for 26 years I'm kind of attached!

 

I have talked to him a few times about names and he know how I feel but we cant come up with anything we both feel comphy with...

 

Agh I guess I just never been the girl who planed on getting married so now that I am I'm lost on all this "girly" stuff hehe

 

I mean you should have seen me trying on a veil!!!

 

 

On a random note why is a potato going threw a fan?? shitfan.gif

I am actually looking forward to changing my name, it gets mispronounced about 90 percent of the time. I have actually had phone sales and CSMs correct me on pronunciation after I spell it for them...talk about rude. Even if it takes you a while to decide on the new name it isn't something you have to do ASAP. Mull it over, if anything, it give you something to take care of on your anniversary?

 

on the random note, I don't know if you are kidding or not. That isn't a potato...that would be the $hit hitting the fan...

yeah I read it after I used it but it really looks like a potato hehehe

 

I guess with me I have a simi common name and its never mispronounced or made fun of.

I put his name on my work back pack and instantly it was made fun of and mispronounced... I got time I guess but its just frustrating when he assumed I was taking his name before ever asking me (I know its tradition but if you knew me you would understand why tradition is something never to assume with me)

For clarification, I closed this thread yesterday b/c this topic has been discussed at length in numerous other threads, 2 of which were supplied above.

 

This forum is getting so large, that we really prefer not to have numerous threads discussing the same things, it gets too hard to keep everything in order. Please utilize the search function and add your thoughts to previous threads on the same subject. However, if you can't find anything discussing what your topic, feel free to create a new thread. Usually when the mod's see duplicate threads on the same subject, we merge them to keep the forum clean.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
