She really pissed me off with the spoiled brat comment. Just because my mom and dad are paying for my wedding does NOT make me or anyone else a spoiled brat. I think she is tacky and tasteless and I hope she has a gold draped, dry halibut wedding! Hah!

BTW Morgan, I love your ferret fund!!! thankyouthankyouthankyou!

I agree with you other girls, why not do more DIY? There are tons of great wedding sites with so much invaluable information such as BDW and Project Wedding. The ladies on these sites are SOOO creative and save so much money by finding cheaper and more creative ways to get things done...but like someone just stated, if people want to give her their money then I guess its their problem.

Does BD really mean bucknaked diva? I'm so naieve lol I'm with Amanda, I think it means boudoir haha. :)

lol wtf, I always thought FI meant FIance too!!
LOL! I always thought FI meant Fiance and BD definitely means Boudouir but Morgan is too funny!

and i hear you i did so much DIY and my wedding was still very expensive - and we paid for ALL of it ourselves - it's all a matter of perspective - where i live it's hard to have a decent wedding for 100 people for under $25K and that is decent - i would say a "nice" wedding for 100 here is prob more like $30K or $40K and i've been to a bunch that are close to $80 and $100K --- now would i spend that? no F'in way? but again if someone else wants to i want to see the pictures and be a guest LOL

ok well on livejournal (LJ, haha) FI definitely stood for "future intended" (meaning fiance, though that doesn't make sense), but on this forum, it is shorthand for fiance: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2690#post32777

btw, livejournal also used DH, MOH, FMIL, etc.

i think we should move to make a permanent change to "bucknaked diva" tho! LMFAO, morgan!

lol, I agree with Alyssa, Abbie, and Amanda. The whole thing is Hilarious and creative. If it works good for her! It personally doesn't bother me. I won't be donating and would NEVER ask for donations, but if there are people willing to donate thatâ€s on them. I wish her all the luck on her little experiment! LMFAO I just canâ€t stop laughing! smile120.gif

OK, now I'm finding her to be amusing. I'm still not giving her money, but I like that she is making the blog interesting. Someone suggested she post 3 options for things & let the blog readers vote.

Vendors are starting to donate services in exchange for advertising. Hmmm... maybe I can learn some tricks from her to pay for my ferret.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
