i completely agree that if people want to donate money to her, that's their own issue, but still.. seriously?

it's nice that she's offering to help other people pay for their weddings when she's done, but isn't there something more constructive and satisfying that she could do? possibly using the endless online resources to figure out how to decrease wedding costs (DIY!!) and have your dream wedding on a reduced budget, and then offer her services and what she has learned to other women who need to do the same thing? (wait... this idea is starting to sound familiar...)

gotta admit though, the girl has balls. and let's be honest, the ferret is just downright hilarious.

first off - the Ferret site is SOOO FUNNY!! morgan - you are crazy :)

and i guess i just don't hear her saying anything bad about us or anyone else ...

"I had no idea that there was this underground cyber-army of brides-to-be who comment on wedding message boards! Today, I discovered that these chicks call their fiances “FI.†Interesting. Iâ€m catching on to the lingo. Is that pronounced “F.I.†or “Fee?†......... So am I disgusting? Brilliant? Disgustingly brilliant? Whatever - I just work here."

i mean maybe it is all how you read it but she seems to have a good sense of humor.

to each their own - just my take :)

i honestly don't think she was talking about this forum. she provided 4 links for places you could see people talking about her ... i clicked them all and none were this forum (the knot, blogger, etc). using "FI" isn't specific to us. when i used to post to livejournal, they used it there too. (personally, i've never used it, because i don't get it. it stands for "future intended," right? well he's my "intended" NOW! he's my future HUSBAND.)

What bothers me, I think, is the fact that she wouldn't be happy with a wedding that cost 20k. She wants more. I think if my budget were 20k I would make do with what I could afford. I agree she has a sence of humor about everything. Oh well, best of luck....hope she gets the wedding of her dreams.....ALLLLLLL of them.

Alyssa - ah, I stand corrected! My appologies! :) Regardless, doesn't anyone find it strange that she is checking up on various sites to see what people are saying about her?

I agree with you other girls, why not do more DIY? There are tons of great wedding sites with so much invaluable information such as BDW and Project Wedding. The ladies on these sites are SOOO creative and save so much money by finding cheaper and more creative ways to get things done...but like someone just stated, if people want to give her their money then I guess its their problem.

Does BD really mean bucknaked diva? I'm so naieve lol I'm with Amanda, I think it means boudoir haha. :)

lol wtf, I always thought FI meant FIance too!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
