My flowers are on their way today!
I got them from Bitter Sweet Weddings designs in Alberta.

I have started looking to buy some stems, wholesale (or slightly higher), so that I can decorate our reception table. Does anyone know where I can find some?

I am using real touch fake flowers for my upcoming wedding! My flowers are wrapped with ribbon and have pins holding it together. For those of you that traveled with fake flowers, did you have any problems bring them in your carry on the plane that also had your flowers done like this?

Do you think that I will need to take the pins out? Or do you think that I will be fine with keeping them in! I really dont want to take them out because Im afraid Ill mess up the whole arrangment as these pins are helping the ribbon stick all together! But I really dont want to pack the flower in my checked luggage as they will be all smushed!

I'm also using Bittersweet Wedding Designs. She's soo sweet and easy to work with. I can't wait to see them. I was torn between one of her designs and a custom one. If I could I would've ordered both. Wonder if they do a buy one get one half off. :)

I am definatly doing real flowers. I checked into doing silk and it really isnt that much cheaper. Plus, I love the smell of real flowers and really want them for my wedding.

I had real flowers for the bouquets and boutonniers and fake hair flowers for my girls and me. No one noticed that the ones in our hair were fake and the bouquets were beautiful and smelled delicious.
If you're picky you might want to go with fake as then you know exactly what you're going to get. But if you love flowers and the smell of them, you probably want to stick with real. GL with your decision.

I'm using Plumeria for my flowers and when I go the samples they looked so real that I atually smelled them! So did my BM's. I didn't tell them they were fake. After contacting the florists in Cabo I decided to save money and buy fake. I can't justify spending $150/ bouquet when I won't even get what I want due to the time of year.

I am using real flowers for my wedding, but I will say that I have seen gorgeous fake flower bouquets from BDW members.

Probably fake ones but it depends on the resort's flower options. If they have some really nice one included in the package, then I may go for that, since I'll be paying for it anyway. But if I don't like the free ones, I'm taking a fake one.

I used fake callas for my wedding and they were incredible! Not one person thought that they looked fake, and best part was that any real flowers I saw were all wilted after a few hours, whereas mine look terrific still! I have all my bouquets sitting in vases around my house until i can bear to sell them... they are so beautiful! I highly recommend fake!
