Opinions - does this jewelry go well with our BMs dresses?

Hey ladies,

 

K - here's the deal. I am going to surprise my MOH and BM with hand made foot jewels in pearl & sworovski crystal along with a 30 minute massage on the beach as their gifts. (have already paid for other things for them along the way)

 

So I am going to need to ask them to purchase their own jewelry. I am wanting to get it by the same woman who did the foot jewelry to have a theme going. Everything is on sale so it's a really good deal. But I need them to go along with this request without arguing or too many questions if possible (lol).

 

So do you think this jewelry will go along with this dress (2nd pic of dress is MOH):

I am wanting to go simple, classy and elegant while trying to keep the cost down for them. It matches directly their foot jewelry that I'll be giving them, and I think I can justify it in that it will pick up the white of my dress & the beading (will post pic of my dress below to jog your memories of what it looks like) Do you think they will like this? I am trying to be really sneaky and keep the foot jewels a surprise (they know I am getting a pair, but don't know they are ). I need them just to go along with this so that everything will work out - in fact, in the email I send them I'm going to mention this: "I know the bride's gift to the bridesmaids is normally the jewelry, but I have something else specially planned for y'all. So if you could just go with me on this that would be great! lol "

I think it will look gorgeous. I also don't think it's wrong to ask them to pick up the tab on it unless it's unreasonably priced. Only you know your friends financial situation.

 

Also.. I love the bodice of your dress. Jaimelynn your waist looks so tiny!

It all looks great together! Love your dress too btw I personally don't think it's a problem to ask them to get the jewelry and it's very reasonably priced ... in fact, maybe you can post where you found the jewelry and the foot jewelry. First of all, love your BM's dresses! They are so flattering and look beautiful! And yes, that jewelry all matches together perfect. You know your BM's money situation better than us, and I think that it was very sweet of you to consider that when you picked jewelry that is not super expensive! I think they will appreciate the gesture, and love the foot jewelry!

The foot jewelry is from a member of this forum pameliadesigns. Her website is Beaded Foot Jewelry | designed & beaded by Pamelia She is lovely to work with ~ has good ideas and is very patient which is nice when you're dealing with a scatter brained bride! LOL

I started on a vendor referral for her but the website timed out and I lost my thread posting. Need to do that soon though.
