My DIY thank you cards with templates

Recommended Posts

Over the last few days, I've been looking for thank you cards that I'd like... and found that they were all so expensive !

Well, with VistaPrint doing 50 oversized postcards free (including own design upload) or 100 regular sized postcards free, I decided to make my own !

DH chose one in the 8 I designed. It's the one with the sunset. I attach all my templates for your usage. For the back of the postcard, you can do simply a blank back. I did a "waterprint" of the image by using the "recolor" option in powerpoint 07, deleted the words and added our monogram (cf the file called "back, without the monogram).

I also attach a pdf of how they should look. The fonts I used are :

Bradley Hand ITC

Year2000Boogie

Angelina

Tempus Sans ITC

Matisse ITC

Calibri

Aharoni

Curlz MT

Scriptina

Timotheos

The languages in the one that has several languages are Russian, Spanish, French, Hindi, English, and Bulgarian. This was done to adapt to my guests, it can of course be customized (just google what you're looking for).

Before uploading to vistaprint, make sure to have only one side per file (ie, one file for front, one file for back) and save the file to a pdf.

I hope this will inspire some of you ! Enjoy !

Note that the VistaPrint free postcards current offer ends this Tuesday March 31, 09 (there will be others, but for those who would want to benefit fromthis one...) I got 50 oversized postcards with enveloppes for only 12$ shipping included ! So glad !

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
