Blue tulum brides post here!!

Recommended Posts

Okay I guess I'll chime in! plane.gif

I'm not a Blue Tulum bride yet but I hope to get married in 2010 in the Tulum area. I'm trying to decide in between a non-AI (like Milamores) or one of the two AIs. At this moment I would say cost is the biggest factor - hence why I'm leaning towards Blue Tulum.

The information you've posted is awesome btw!! Where did you find the info on the packages? With all the changes the resort has undergone (particularly in ownership) I am unsure if I am looking at the right website.

Would you mind passing on contact info?

Also, I should add I will be down there with my mom and my fiance during the first week of June doing site visits!

Angelina is the wc and she is wonderful and always gets back to me with in a couple days. Her email is bodas@bluetulumresorts.com

The site is still a work in progress right now but here is the linkResort & Spa Blue Tulum

I have all the info directly from Angelina and we are signing our contract when we go down in may so I'm pretty sure its the up to date info since they change on April 4, 2009. I've done extensive research, being here all alone, so I can probably answer any questions you have. I am so over informed :)

hope this helps

Wow! Funny that I am from Chgo too! I have been on this site for months now-looking for a DW location. Ahh! I think you found my dream resort. It looks beautiful. However, you beat me to it. My FI and I are looking to get married in Tulum December 19th- how ironic. The place looks so perfect, we are willing to have our wedding in January. Lets chat- my email is carynlesniak@gmail.com. I live in Oak Park.

So I've gotten some questions with people being worried about the cost for their guest here are the prices I got from my travel agent for 2009

3 nights - $574.00 per person

4 nights - $749.00 per person

5 nights - $923.00 per person

6 nights - $1,098.00 per person

7 nights - $1,274.00 per person

its not much more than the other resorts and since it is an all suit hotel...it is cheaper then the price of a suit at most other resorts in the area!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
