Ohhh good idea... I'm not really digging the sashes I've seen in the pictures Tiara's sent me so far.

Our colours are orange and hot pink/fuscia.

 

Also, I was only planning on getting married earlier in April.. how long does it take for your certificate to be issued?? I hadn't thought of that.

We are flying down our photographers, pics are #1 for us so i found a local photo that i love, plus her FI is a wedding photo as well. so both will be joining us.

I dont think they will care about the proof of wedding certificate, especially since you are getting married at the resort. But i know some will take the wedding invite as proof as well.

I'm so jealous of you girls! I wanted a pink and orange wedding too (orignally I dreamed of a fall wedding), but with the ocean I thought it would look best with Tiffany blue! So that's the colour we're going with.

 

Dolphinluck, I emailed Tiara today with a bunch of my questions. Hopefully she'll get back to me. I'll share any good info I get. Thanks for your info though! Btw, I think I'll just be arriving at the resort the night of your wedding!

 

Amygirl1169, could you post pics that Tiara sent you? She didn't give me anything but the package info and form!

 

Nicole8, I'm just using whatever photog is provided in my package. I haven't given it much more thought than that.

Thanks so much for all the pic Amy!! a lot of them i have not seen before.

 

Does anyone know if the chargers are included in the private reception? I really like the bamboo chargers and was thinking of buying some to bring down.

Also anyone know about color of the napkins? I think i want to add a little bit more color to the tables.

Yup, thanks for the pics Amy!

 

I just got word from Tiara. She said sashes were free! We just choose our chairs though. Plastic or Tiffany style. She also said I won't need to show anything for the honeymoon package included in the Ultimate wedding pkg. My future in-laws also love their crabs/lobsters so I asked about that for the gold menu and she said it was additional costs. I wonder how much.

 

It's funny communicating with the WC. If you ask too many questions, you get selective answers, but if you don't ask enough, I feel like you get yes/no answers! lol.

Hi everyone!

I am planning to be married at either DPC or DLR in 2011 and am just beginning to look into everything. If anyone would be willing to send me any info you have receieved from either resort in terms of options, pricing, photography, flowers... esentially anything I would really appreciate it. I have looked at the info on the websites but it only gives minimal info.

I am planning a site trip to DR this October/November just to check things out and will post any comments I have.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
