Ah thanks for letting me know, i really appreciate it! I wouldn't want to spend that amount of money on something that lasts a minute... Time for a rethink :-) We are coming from the UK, there's 22 of us so it's a small wedding party... 40 rooms should be plenty- how many guests are you expecting? x

Coming from UK!Wow that's a long way, how exciting! :) as for the fireworks you can still check with the WC to confirm? I know on their brochure it says starting from $600. We're expecting around 40-50 guests and I hope we can keep it less than 60.

My wedding isn't till end of August 2014 but we found a very cute dress! Right color, right material, all the girls love it! Best part..it's on sale! 50% off! :D

Buuuuut I am not sure I should ask them to buy it now...it's still a year away! Way to early? What do you guys think?

I say go with your gut, if you feel that's the dress you want then go for it! It's hard finding a dress everyone loves.

Hey ladies I haven't booked my wedding yet because I wanted to go down there in February or March to finalize and book everything. If I send the save the dates in March2014 and set the wedding date for October 2014 is that not enough notice to my guests? Please let me know your opinions! Thanks!
Hey I recently went to a wedding in punta Cana this past August. There was no save the date sent the invites we're sent out 3 months before the wedding. That being said as a guest I would have really appreciate notice in advance. 7 months seems reasonable. My wedding isn't until 2015 (sadly) I will send out the save the date 2014 hopefully that's not too early :)

You guys have family in DR! how fun! I hope the wedding package price does not go up in 2015...I will definitely share some tips with you when I am back from mine :D

His family is mostly from America while my family is actually from Malaysia...long way to travel so I really want to make sure everything is top notch and worth their long flights haha :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
