This is the groom writing. Got married yesterday and just wanted to say that everything went off without a hitch the beach reception was amazing as well as the cigar roller. Tiara did a great job. And I can not say enough about HDC Photo. Arnaud and the videographer were amazing and we can't wait to get the photo's back. You will not be disappointed.

Yes, they did. Well basically you use the cake server to cut the cake.

I had a similar experience with the hair and make up. I don't think they know how to do anything else but small tiny curles with tons of moose and gel. At the end, my hair just looked plastic.

I also didn't understand how the same hair dresser made my hair look great at trial but had to redo it 3 times during the actual appointment, which made me almost late! If I would go again, I would do my hair myself or ask one of the bridesmaids to help me

Does anyone have the script for the sand ceremony that Tiara would provide? I didn't even know she could provide one. I've been trying to draft one up! Thanks!

I've actually been spending a lot of time trying to draft up the entire ceremony, from welcome, thank yous, vows, sand ceremony and announcement.

              Amy, I read your review...

Thank you so much for doing that for everyone else to see. You looked stunning and it sounds like you had an amazing time. Each time I read a review from one of the DLR brides (thank you ladies!!!), it makes me more excited about my own. I hope that I too can learn to relax and simply enjoy each moment and go with the flow. Did you upgrade wedding packages or did you go with the "free" one? Also, did they provide any music for you to walk down the aisle to, and if so, is that part of the DJ service? Sorry for the many questions...any help is greatly appreciated.

Best of luck to you and your new husband, and to all the soon-to-be brides!

              Nancy

Oh I am seriously worried about hair now as I really hate gel and tight curls, I am going to make my apts early. Were they happy enough to re do your hair? I wonder how it is ok on a trial and not on the day?

lizzyjayne, I am wondering that myself. At the trial they pinned my hair up, without gel. It looked great. When I came for an appointment, she started to really moose it up and making a huge rightslanted bump on my head. I got so upset I told her I don't like it, but she did not speak english so I said "no bump". After that she began to really make my hair look even and perfect, which is the opposite of flowing and natural. I had to call my bridesmaid and when she began to explain to her to make my hair the way she did it at trial, the hair dresser started almost screaming at us. I don't think she understood what we wanted and we assumed she would make it look as the trial. I didn't want to create a scene so I just went along I think if you tell her NOT to put so much gel at trial and make her spend more time doing your hair, it might turn out. I also think that I got one that was not so good in general.

The hairdressers work every other day, so you have to go for a trial 2 days before.

Please find out from Tiara before if you do not have the package- I assume the dj would not be free than
Unfortunately, my new now dad will not even show me the pics until he edits them. I also do not even know how to post things on this forum, but if you give me your email or facebook name I will send you the pics as soon as I have them.
I will send you a private message with my facebook name :) Thank you so much again. I cant wait to see them!!

This decoration cost me 150$ extra, but that was only bacause I did not want to the extra flowers they hang (total 300 or 350 dont remember).
I cant wait to see pictures of this...It totall sounds like something I would want to do...Tulle with lanterns and no flowers :) Im guessing they have pink tulle (ive seen it in other bride's pictures).

Thanks so much again for the info
