Yup, I used Studio Suits which has linen suits for $99. It was a bit more because of the conversion to Cdn $ but still totally worth it. And they were really fast and have great communication. It even came with a suit bag. I would recommend it, if you can't find what you're looking for locally.

BTW, talked to Tiara via email and she mentioned there would be no guest pass fee to bring Pastor Rick in for the ceremony.

 

And that if you want to send your songs to the DJ ahead of time, you should send to her and she will give to the DJ (maybe he doesn't use email?)

I am waiting to hear from Tiara on this. I also email Pastor Rick back asking if he could recommend anyone else but have not heard back. I too was going to have a certain friend do it but they are not coming.

Dolphinluck, I wrote a "few" replies on the thread for Custom Suits (Studio Suits is the place). I was torn between Light Beige and English Beige. I ended up choosing the English beige. It looks great. I'm sure I would have been happy with either. My FI has a "natural tan" so I didn't want him in a colour that was too dark and have too much contrast.

 

I'm sure you will be happy with any colour you select. Us especially, since we couldn't find linen suits anywhere in the winter...in WINTERPEG. Good luck.

Hey Girls, I'm just wondering if any of you booked the Ultimate wedding package and put down the $500 deposit and then decided to switch to the free package? I am going to email Tiara as we are thinking about doing this, but thought I might get an answer quicker on here as to whether you were able to use the $500 towards other costs or if it would just be lost? I was doing some caculating and think that if we switch packages and rent out a restaurant, we will still be able to get everything that we want from the ultimate package AND hire an outside photographer and still save money.

I was also wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere to plug in speakers at the wedding gazebo for music or if they would have to be battery operated. I just noticed that the wedding package does not include the Caribbean Music Trio anymore.

Hi Jenne,

Yes, you can apply the deposit to your total bill if you decide to go with a different package. Because you are so close to your wedding day you would only lose your deposit if you decided to have your wedding elsewhere.

How are your final plans coming along?

Thank you. We are switching and we booked HDC Photo today for our wedding and trash the dress shoot. We're SO happy about that! Everything is pretty much all ready to go, just a few things to work out... and hoping Tiara won't have a problem with our change of plans :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
