Dreams La Romana

Yes, alcohol is definitely included its an all inclusive resort! If you look at the Gold or Silver menu its says that you pay person in extras for the bar and service, so ladies dont stress about it.

As far as downgrading the package I thought about it but I saw no need to. My wedding is at 8000 now which is under my budget and I have 55 people. The package includes everything I want except some minor things. I would definitely want the Gold Menu and if you get the cheapest package your paying for all your food seperately which becomes more expensive once you add in taxes and gratuity. I want my ceremony recorded which I think is a plus I will not use the hair and makeup services because I have a hair stylist and a makeup artist with me, so I will let someone else use that.

Ladies,

I have a question. I was reading through the packages and I am getting the Dreams of Love Package... it doesnt state chairs and sashes for the ceremony... is that an extra charge for that package?

Also,

If anyone downgraded to the free package ... is the food cost the same as listed for the overages on the bottom of the silver and gold menus or are there additional costs...

Hi Mandiesue

The love package doesnt include chairs or sashes. That would be additional. I know some ladies take their own sashes with them. I know sometimes they'll throw in some free decorations if they can but I wouldnt count on that. Below is the price list per chair.

Chairs

Tiffany chairs (for 20 or more guest)

$ From 10.00

White Wooden folding Chairs (for 20 or more guest)

$ From 7.00

Plastic Chairs with white cover

$ From 3.00

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
