JUST got my Real Touch flowers and I am soooooooooooo pleased. NO one here at work believed they were fake, I got looks at first for telling them that I got my flowers... which they thought was crazy, then telling them they were fake... They smell scrumptious too, so worth the wait! My only concern is transportation to the resort, but i'm sure i'll figure it out :)

I will take pictures at home but seriously so gorgeous and real looking :)

Yay so happy you love them! Did they come wrapped and flat or do they come already ready to walk down the isle? Idk if you know what I mean lol

A question for past and present DLR brides; to qualify for the free dreams in paradise package you must "book a suite for 7 nights or 5 rooms in any category for 3 nights". Do these rooms have to be booked directly with the hotel or do rooms booked through a travel agent also count?

Thanks in advance! i want to go with this package and then add on the gold menu, free bar, HDC photography etc.

I had the same question and I was told by Tiara and by their group sales manager, Shirley Sanchez, that the rooms do not have to be booked directly with the hotel.  As long as your reservation specifies that the reservation is part of your wedding party, it is fine.  Moreover, prior to the wedding, you will need to give them a guest list anyhow specifying which of the guests are staying at the hotel.  Hope this helps.

Congratulations on your flowers, Dana!  I ordered my flowers from Angel's Accents as well as your experience is very reassuring.

Hello ladies :)))

Haven't been posting anything for days now been a bit busy..

@Dana - So glad that you have received your flowers at last, yay!!! :))) And now as you go them your big day seems even more real i am sure :)) Cant wait to see the pix!!! :D And in regards to your sister, well done for venting on here, sometimes its good to say things out loud or even type, just gives you that little relieve :)) We have exactly the same situation with my FI's sister, - but we are guessing its just jealousy unfortunately...as many girls have told you here she will regret acting silly like this later on in her life!

@chanelo - we are doing exactly the same, as we won't have that many ppl in DLR, we decided to go for free wedding package and then add all extras we fancy :D We booked from UK with travel agent, as Katie mentioned above, you just need to specify that you are going for your wedding and that this room should come with free wedding package and it will be no problem at all! :)))

@Noemi & Chanelo - your bridesmaids dresses look soooo fabulous its unreal!!! :D ...need to crack into finding dressed for my bridesmaids too, cos I tell you time flies by sooo quickly lately!!!...

Girls, I was wondering which one of you are doing OOT bags and what was your inspiration??...I have been stuck with it for some time now,...not sure should i do tote bags or paper bags and what will go in there at all lol :D...so any help would be greatly appreciated! :))

xoxo

The are wrapped and ready for walking down the isle..   the corsages and bouts are in corsage cases. To be honest I was not able to get them up from car so I didn't look at the layers underneath. ITS a huge box and our elevator was down, and we live on the fourth floor so i will inspect more tonight. But the three bouquets were placed on top and were beautiful.

I qualify for the free wedding as we have 24 rooms booked.  But our bar was not free , but I booked SSG not the gold or silver package. I didn't book with them directly, but through Sunwing vacations here in canada.

I'm doing OOT bags,  believe me I realized how much i've bought. I bought stuff for games to keep everyone together during the time (rubber duckies, ring toss) I made first aid kits, passport welcome letter, bought some murano starfish necklaces for the ladies.. some tide to go and items like that.  We decided also to go to the local village and buy souvenirs for each guest as a boboniere. We also made a wedding soundtrack with our first dance, and toss music ect...  Its all good, doesn't really matter what you put in, because its the thought that counts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
