Dana you are so organized, its incredible, I wish I would be as well lol :D and the idea with metal suitcase sounds awesome, never thought about it but now as you mentioned it, I think I will be getting one too :)))

Dana also, do you have a lot of ppl coming to Dreams for your big day??

Good morning Ladies just wanted to let you know that I heard through my TA that Tiara has been on emergency medical leave and should be back on Monday.  This is probably why most of us haven't heard back from anyone. 

 

It is getting down to the wire for some of us.  I know it is for me a little over two months to go!!!  My dress comes in today I'm sooo excited.  Also I contacted a friend of mine that lives in DR and asked him if he can look around for a wedding decorating store where we can get chinese lanterns, vases, stands,etc...  Will keep everyone posted once he gets back to me.

Right now there is 16 of us going, some people to had to cancel and some said they will book last minute, so we shall see.  The most important people to us will be there so that's all that matters :)

 

I had a feeling that something was wrong with Tiara, I hope that she gets better soon!  wink.gif

No wonder Yanna has not got back to me either, she is probably trying to deal with double work load while Tiara is ill, - hopefully though you ladies will hear soon from them about your big day cos its sooo soon for some of you!!! :))

Jenn, if you will hear back from your friend about places you could get decorations in DR, would be fantastic if you could let us know too :D...it would make things sooo much easier as well, just get it there and then and don't bring everything over...i am sure it will be cheaper as well... :))

I had a few cancellations too but we are back up to 46, possible 50 by the end of this week. We will see. I really thought it would be 18 tops... and considering that I have maybe 75 people coming to the reception at home (that is, if I hadn't chosen to do the destination thing) I'm pretty impressed.:)  So Miss Taken, we will be the roudy group at the swim up bar lol!

 

I can't believe how fast it is coming up, and i'm organized yes, but its just a big organized mess!!!

Hey Jenn,  thanks SO much for the update!  I would love love love to know if there is a place near Dreams where we can pick up decor items because I am currently trying to decide whether to bring vases down or not!  Can't wait to hear back from you!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
