thanks for the photos girl! it looks like they do a good job with hair and makeup..i think I may just do my hair and makeup at the spa so I don't have to pay an outside fee if I bring someone in...especially since yanna told me that I need to pay $65 per decorator that goes into the resort...aside from that im paying $150 for the photographer (outside vendor)..I think $65 per decorator is excessive for sure because theyre just going in for a few hours and theyre leaving right after...im not sure how many people the decorator lady has in her team..hopefully she doesn't need THAT many people hopefully just a few...hopefully I can negotiate this a little with Yanna (as you can see im very hopeful lol)...im not going to stress about this too much now especially because I don't know how many people will rsvp to go..im assuming the smaller the group the less labor it will take..

The hair and make-up look great. I did read somewhere that if yourusing a flower in your hair, you should avoid the real ones because they fade quickly in the heat.

@@neliruz. Is there a cost/charge for the resort to put up decorations/items that you are taking with you?

I'm not sure I think they charge for decorating the gazebo and any extra stuff u ask them for if u don't provide it. .. the only reason Im going for the outside decorator is because I know she's really good and she will take care of absolutely everything I don't have to worry about buying anything in advance..I tell her my vision and she makes it happen. ..I'm ok paying for that service especially since I saw what she did for my friend'swedding...

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
