Does anyone know if we can have the reception till midnight when it is indoor? I thought we had the reception confirmed to be 6:30pm till midnight but Yanna just told me yesterday that it is only till 11pm...I understand if it is outdoor it has to end early because of the noise, but ours will be held indoor. Do they come in around 10:30pm and started chasing everyone out or it would be a pleasant exit?

 You are having better luck with Yanna than I am. I sent her my wedding contract in January and the information to make our deposit and they have yet to process it. I was contacted by her a week ago and she said it went into her spam folder and that I did not need to worry cause my date is confirmed. However, they still have not processed my payment

Between then and Feb I sent her a few emails, didn't get any response till last week. I am just trying to be understanding and think that they are really overwhelmed with work to make sure all brides have their beautiful wedding days.

I just found out that now have a new assistant to help out. She sent me my confirmation...Yesss! Now, I am putting together an e-mail to ask her more specific questions. Did you ever get any pictures of flowers that have been there or the name of the vendor? Do you know what color options are available to us to use verses having to bring stuff with us. I know I'm a ways off but I am just excited.

It took mine awhile and I am getting married in April 2015. It is frustrating, but they will get back to you. It took almost a month for them to process ours; however, they did and I received all the receipts as promised. It might not hurt to ask your travel agent, if working with one, to contact them just so they speed up the process. My TA actually did that stating that we were concerned with identity theft. I later found out that my e-mail actually went into their SPAM folder and that was part of the delay.

It does take a while, it can seem frustrating but take it all in stride. I'm getting married July 10th, 2014 and I actually was also engaged at DLR July 2013. I don't have many pictures of all the restaurants but I do have a pretty good memory if you have any questions.

 

For those of you who have already married, where did you get your hair done? I have a reservation at the spa to get my hair done but I haven't seen any examples from their spa.

We've photographed couple of weddings at Dreams La Romana and they did pretty good job with the hair.  

Here is a blog post from a wedding that got ready at Dreams La Romana  (the wedding itself was held at Altos de Chavon) but all the ladies (bride and bridesmaids got their hair done at the spa)

I literally wrote a whole post and it deleted! I just dont feel like writing the whole thing over. Basically the jist is I am excited! My wedding is in 4 months, counting down. Is there antyone else getting married in July?
