Grandparents ceremony such a success. We couldnt have asked for a better day.  Never thought I would be legally married in a hospital but the hospital did above and beyond anything we could have imagined.  Grandparents were so happy!!

@Soccer1615: The ceremony with your grandparents looks so emotional! I'm glad it was a success, you & your hubby look beautiful!

 

I sent Yanna the information on Friday to reserve our date, 12.12.12 cheer2.gif

 

I am started the paperwork process today by ordering certified copies of birth certificates & divorce decree to have an extra - just in case (they keep them).

 

Our wedding is going to be a little different at Dreams - we are coming to the resort via cruise ship and we are only there from 10am-6pm. Does anyone have any recommendations for a taxi/limo company that we can use? I need a bus (to transport about 20) and then a limo (for my dad and I)?

Hi ladies! Quick question. We got the Ultimate package where the Gold menu is included. At the top of the form it says "couple should pick one of each of the following" Does that mean that we have to pick one thing for every person at the wedding to eat? Like no one has a choice?

Hi Everyone!

 

It's taken me 2 weeks to finally catch up on the ENTIRE thread...and I finally can post!

 

First and foremost, congrats to all the brides. What an exciting adventure!

 

Secondly...THANK YOU! this post has helped me immensely in planning our wedding. We literally only decided 2 months ago to go destination (you know the whole craziness of family/budget/time/etc)  and Dreams La Romana is the place!! woop woop

 

Date: Nov 10, 2012.  I believe I'm sharing the date with someone else...

 

looking forward to sharing this journey with you all.  It promises to be a good one!

Im not getting married at Dreams since I fell in love with another resort in Punta Cana...BUT...my honeymoon is now officially booked at Dreams La Romana!  Yay!!!  I'm uber happy that I am able to get the best of both worlds!  The only reason I didnt choose Dreams for my wedding was it was a bit harder to get direct non-stop flights there and I wanted to make traveling very easy for my guests...Punta Cana offered so many direct non stop flights so we decided to get married there.  But I've seen all the pics and reviews on Dreams, and La Romana is such a cute little town and offers so many activities that it's going to be the perfect get away after our wedding!  

 

Looking forward to all the comments and feedback from everyone on this property.  Adesir8...I may very well see you there as I'll be checking in on November 11th, the day after your wedding.  Cheers!  : )

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
