I know you are chomping at the bit waiting for confirmation.  It took less than 1 week for Yanna to get back to me and even that felt like FOREVER!!!!  Did you scan the completed paperwork??  It's hard to really get excited about your wedding until you know for sure that your date is locked-in.  GOOD LUCK, I will keep my fingers crossed for you in the meantime!!

Oh glad your flight is going to be basically 9h ish and you will be arriving a day earlier to Manchester - it always good to start getting into holiday mood earlier Although we live not far from Gatwick, where we will be flying from, we have still booked a night before in a hotel there, so we won't need to leave home in a middle of the night and than have over 9h flight ahead of us.

And you have scored on your hair arrangements, having someone you trust there doing your hair is amazing ) I am having my hair down too, not fan of the up does ) and wearing a cathedral veil, was not keen on the whole veil idea at first, but than tried it on with my dress and it does look lovely

Definitely share with us any other ideas you managed to gather would love to see )) I will post some as well as I go along Btw just found a very simple but nice bags for our welcome bags here is pic, tell me what you think ladies:

 

Will add some tissue paper and and add all the goods in there ) Was thinking to do beach bags at first in each room, but than realized that my family consist of majority women and most of them would like to get their own bag lol so only for bags I was looking to spend about £200 lol, so found this alternative instead I have not purchased them just yet, so would appreciate your opinion on it girls )

 

@Jessica we are using HDC photographer too, cant wait myself to see Arnauds pictures, he does seem a very pleasant guy

Yanna sent me the Wedding Reservation form to complete and send back, but that's the only paperwork I received and I sent that back right away.

 

I did book Pastor Rick for our date, so I'm praying the resort doesn't have to change it! Wanting desperately to book my photographer before someone else does! I can't wait to officially be able to plan... you ladies have some fantastic ideas! So grateful for this forum and all of you girls!

Snakcake-there should be a box at the top of your wedding request form/credit card authorization that says "please fill this form out and send scanned by email with a photocopy of your credit card both sides and an ID"

if you missed that and haven't done it that way, that may be why they haven't confirmed it.  So you have to print out the forms they sent you, fill them out by hand, make copies of your credit card and ID and then scan them into your computer and email them to the email address I gave you for Yanna.  Once you do it that way you should hear back shortly....fingers crossed!!!!

Hope you all doing well and you had a lovely week and now all enjoying your well deserved weekend not been on here for some time now so though will see what you all up to?! ))

 

Last night was Katie's legal ceremony in DLR and tonight its her reception and anudrm's big day too!!! Yay ladies, if you will real this, CONGRATULATION!!!! :Dxxx Have loads of fun and enjoy every minute of it girls and once again congrats on becoming MRS!!! :Dxx

 

So for ladies who are thinking about options on how to transport their priceless wedding dresses to DLR, as I mentioned some time ago I ordered one of the travel wedding box's many brides use. They come in sizes of you hand luggage, so you can fold your dress in it and carry it with you on the plane and don't be worries about putting it in the hold luggage and it being lost or smth...(this is what I am afraid most..)

 

So my box has arrived yesterday and it looks amazing, on the inside of the lid it has also our calligraphic hand written names and date of our wedding (which is very sweet:)), here are some pictures too :
