Dreams La Romana

Recommended Posts

I'm a far-off 2013 bride so don't as yet have a date! :( Having to make an early start as, due to my time consuming job, I only have the opportunity to put my full efforts into it until September this year and will have about 4 weeks next year. Your date is my parents' wedding anniversary! (they've been blissfully happy together since they were 16 so it's a good date ;)) You must be so excited with less than a year to go!! How much have you managed to plan thus far?

When 2013 arrives you will be very prepared and ready! May is a special month for us , because its both our parents anniversary . Mine 25 yrs and his 27 yrs :) initially we were planning our wedding at home booked a venue. Then started interviewing photographers and florist and caterers etc. It became soooo overwhelming for me. My fiance wasn't much help because of his job that required moat of his time. He saw how stresses I was and we had a talk and decided on a stress free wedding without gst list of 150-200 .. so here I am , and its the best decision ever. I've booked group rooms for the hotel. Booked DJ Mannia. I wanted to book Pastor York for our ceremony but he is booked so he suggested his associate Pastor Ryan Vandelinde. Photography is very important so I'm still searching photographers. Chanelo, you're only a few months away!

Thank you for posting your pictures and the Eventos recommendation, Francys! I emailed them to see about colours and prices.

Jenny sent us pictures of the beach gazebo and I fell in love with the privacy and sand. So glad to see it is as wonderful as it seems!

Kim, thank you so much for posting the pictures!  Guys please note these pictures are untouched, Cesar Bido is actually working on them and I can't wait to see the end result.

He is an amazing photographer, trust me...we are proff some us aren't as pretty as we look in his pictures ;)

If you can...do jump into the pool!!  It was loads of fun, we had a great time.  You've all made a great selection Dreams La Romana is so much more beautiful than what we see in pictures in person.

Chanelo, Feb is a great month to get married in DR, not as hot as July was but trust me it will be here before you know!

Feel free guys to ask should you have any questions, again...Congrat's everyone!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
