Dreams La Romana

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies - so I typed up a nice brief review and uploaded photos last night, but as I uploaded the last one, my computer crashed and I lost it all.  So VERY briefly.  We did the ceremony at the smaller gazebo - glad we did - much more private and less formal looking than the big white gazebo (went really well with our theme).  Did cocktails and first dance and parent/kid dances on the pier - perfect for our group of 19.  Did dinner on the beach - beyond perfect.  Jenny is amazing and having the Circus of Dreams was most definitely the Wow factor.  Will post a better review on the review board on Thursday. Oh! And Miljan from HDC was our photographer and I HIGHLY recommend him!

Hi Jen,

Yeh they really look great and the price is amazing for custom made! you couldn't rent suits for that price in Ireland! one thing though - I just checked my swatches and there is a tropical beige linen and a tropical dark beige linen...am I correct that you went with the first? Sorry to be a pain I just think everything looked fab for you and would love to recreate some of it! xxx

Thank you!! When I ordered the suits there was just beige linen.  I think the closest color to what i ordered is the tropical beige.

Also for anyone looking for a DJ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ MANNIA.  They were absolutely the best and had all the music that i wanted.  And I mean I gave them a list of 50 plus DO NOT Play songs and a List of Must play and most of the songs were songs that just came out or were hard to find the right remix and DJ Mannia found ALLL of the songs and played them just at the right time.  We were all Dancing for hours they were GREAT!!!!

Hey Jenn, how did you locate DJ Mannia?  Also, do you mind me asking how much they were?  Oh yeah and did they have an MC??  This is one of my biggest fears that the music is not going to work out!!  Anything you can tell me would be much appreciated!!

Krod- the DJ stayed a little longer and will let you know 20 or so minutes before that the time is going to be up this way you can see if you want them to stay longer.  But this worked out for us because after the wedding reception and the ones that wanted to keep on dancing we just went into the club at dreams and by 11 or so they start playing the music and you can request the music that you want from the club dj as well.

Bell-DJ Mannia is actually one of the vendors on this forum just search for them and make sure you put Punta cana because they have a couple of location.  They were about 1000 and worth every penny.  If you have specific music that you want just provide them with a list of songs you want them to download and they will find all the music and have it on hand to play.  The DJ is also a MC and will do all the intro that you want just let them know what you want and don't want. They absolutely pay attention to what you want.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
