Hello everyone, I'm so excited to have found this forum. We have a wedding planned for Dreams La Romana for next July. I've been enjying reading through all the posts and pictures. I'm learning so much, and the pictures are beautiful.


I'm looking formward to learning so much more.


I'd love to also hear the answers and thoughts about Dana's tipping question. I hadn't thought about that yet.


And we are also working wtih Tiara, and have worried about her response time, but the day before yesterday she responded back and forth about 3 times, but then hasn't responded to my last one,so? guess it's hit-and-miss.

Alot of us, including myself will be or have used HDC. There is a on site photographer..


their site is http://www.hdcphoto.com/ and they are on facebook as well.  If you contact them, they usually get back to you right away.  Anything i've seen from them has been spectacular. Please note that you do have to pay for a day pass for them and its 65$ (i think)

I've been coming to this forum for quite sometime but just joined since I'm starting to plan my wedding for September 2012. But before that I must say you all look gorgeous in your wedding and I'm even more excited for mine. I have a few questions maybe you guys can answer me:

 

* How many guest do I need on my wedding to have it free?

* Do they have to stay in the hotel? for how long?

* How much you guys spent on yours? I just need to have an idea how much I should save, you know with the economy and all I want it cheap but gorgeous.

Dreams Wedding in Paradise Package

This package is complimentary when booking a booking an Ocean Front Suite or higher for a minimum of 7 nights or if 5 rooms are reserved for a minimum of 3 nights in any room category.

This complimentary package includes:

• Symbolic Ceremony

• Wedding organization and personalization by our Wedding coordinator

• Preferential location of the room in the category reserved

• Preparation and ironing of the wedding dress and grooms tuxedo/suit

• Complimentary room for the groom the night before the wedding(Based on availability)

• Bride’s Bouquet and boutonniere for the groom

• Wedding cake and sparkling wine for 10 guests

• Special turn down service at night

• 15% discount on all Spa treatments (Product purchases not included)

• Honeymoon Package

• Late check-out for Bride and Groom (Based on availability)

• Use of the wedding gazebo and beach front area

• Earn free nights towards a stay over your first anniversary!**

Selling Price $899

Due to a government surcharge, a $300 USD fee is required for judge services and a $550 USD fee is required for minister/priest services. Please advise the wedding coordinator if you would like to include legal or religious services in your ceremony and all arrangements will be made accordingly. Subject to availability & double occupancy only. Prices subject to change without notice. Weddings Services are not part of the Unlimited-Luxury® package.       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
