Hermosahoops,

I got 4"x2" metal boxes with lids from papermart.com, they were about $17 for 24 pieces. I've seen girls use a lot of different containers for their emergency kits, but I liked the idea of having a cute box that could be reused again so I went with metal. They are sturdy, but not heavy at all, so that is good. I bought labels at Staples and printed them today, super easy. Papermart has lots of great stuff that might come in handy to you, prices are good too, and they had tons of boxes to choose from, sure you'll find something on that site.

Also, my aunt was looking for tulle fabric for my bridal shower and she found a website that has the craziest prices that I have seen yet. www.gifts-us.com. She ordered satin ribbon for me, 1/4" ribbon 100 yards for $2.00. They also have bags and wedding favors, suggest everyone check them out, most competitive prices I have seen yet.

Ouch! Our final deposit for accommodations is Monday so I'm filling out the credit card authorization forms right now. We're currently 46% over my super optimistic budget I had set when we first got engaged. blush2.gif  We are paying both 100% of my sister and FI's brother's travel/hotel costs, which we didn't originally plan on, but it is worth it to have them there. I guess I really do need to stop buying more OOT stuff!  :(   It looks like parchment envelopes are going to be the way to go for me!

Hermosahoops,

Check out the other forums, there is a thread somewhere for OOT bags. I saw one girl made an emergency kit just using clear plastic cillo bags, you can get those super cheap at the gifts-us website I gave you. She than made custom header cards for the tops, filled the bags, top with the headers and stapled them together. They looked very cute. I'll see if I can find the post and will come back to give you the link.

Great thread. Thanks uninspired! Sorry for going so off topic. It's been a weird week and I'm all over the place. I appreciate the tips and kind words though. They make a big difference in everything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
