Dreams La Romana

Recommended Posts

Ok...so ignore the message I just posted....

Amy just clarified everything for me...thank you x 100000 :)

So it turns out that there are 2 options.

a) Either you rent out the SSG for the flat rate of $1000 + tax and your guests just pick off the SSG regular menu.

OR

B) You go with the special wedding menu, either silver or gold and you pay a per person rate, depending which menu you choose.

xoxo

Welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry, the document was a bunch of photos of the SSG and I can't seem to find it anymore. I'm certain there are more photos around this thread but I know the search is going to be exhaustive. I think I also did a google images search for Dreams la Romana Seaside Grill and found photos on the web too.

Good luck with anything and if you want any other photos - I have photos of flowers and cakes, let me know!
thanks alot!!

I would appreciate anything that you can send me. I seriously went through every page of this thread and learned so much. Kind of weird since I know all of you and i'm a newbie! :)

Just confirmed with Tiara, you rent out the seaside grill for 1000+26 %. Apparently you have the whole place to yourself and you order off the menu at the SSG (which i have not received yet) There is house wine and there is a bar there. Tiara said it covers 60 people (not sure if you have more what the charge is) Room for DJ and dancing. So instead of the Silver package we have decided to take the "Free" package and pay for all the extras.

I do have a question for everyone. Is the cocktail hour worth it? I don't mind paying the 8$ a head. But i would like it to be nice... let me know:)

I'll use the extra money to buy some rope lights! They looked great in your photos.
I looked last night were i thought I put it but couldnt find it, going to try couple other places it might be tonight, fingers crossed. Do you think that they got confused by your email as the cocktail hour is $8 pp. I really wouldnt think they would up the price so much in just 2 months, plus mid-year at that.

Thanks Heather,
I'll also show them this website and hopefully they'll realize they made a mistake.

I leave in 2 days! Yikes!

Ladies who've already been down, did you just give Tiara all your decorations and she put them up?

Hi Dolfinluck- I think you were the one who did the rope lights up the palm trees. I'm in love! How many, and what length rope lights did you bring? I can't find the picture of it I'd seen before and was hoping you could email it to me to show to my fiancé. My email address is Emma.hartel@gmail.com.

P.S. Thanks ladies for giving me so much info in the resort and the wedding stuff. I feel like I don't even need to talk to Tiara until right before the wedding :)

Hi Emma,
Yup I had the rope lights on the palm trees. I brought down eight 18 ft long clear rope lights and each palm tree had two of them connected together so it was 36 ft on each palm. I dont have the cd yet for all my pictures but you can see the picture on my photographer's website

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
