We had 30 people come. One couple did not know that they were not supposed to drink the tap water, and they drank it, and were not feeling very well. We were told on the bus to the resort and at our orientation the day after we got there, not to drink the tap water. The water they give you at dinner from the restaurants is fine though. We all drank that and were fine!

Hi Dasha & Jenne:

Can either of you tell me about the entertainment (both during the day and the evening shows)? Was it any good? Did they have a cirque de soiel show while you were there?

Also, did you do any excursions while you were there besides speedboats or Saona? (i already did that one)

Thanks ladies! -- oh and thanks Jenne for the confirmation... I will check FB tomorrow!

Thanks everyone for your advice and opinions about the food and water. That's what I thought too about the water but I think I needed to hear it! I don't entirely trust my TA for travel advice!

Thanks Jenne for getting back to me, I haven't been on for a few days so its took me ages to read it all.

Thanks Dasha your wedding sounds fantastic, its so good when people come back and tell us there opinions, as I'm sure you all feel nervous about their guests not enjoying it as I do.

Oh Amy your wedding sounds amazing I'm so glad you had a good time, very nervous about my hair and make up now, I hate gel or hair spray on my hair, think I'll go for an early appointment so I can get them to change it if I don't like it!!!

I'm lesley Boyd from Hillsborough United Kingdom if anyone wants to add me on fb

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
