Oh my gosh! Are you excited Dolfinluck?! You have 15 days!! I am having "bride" moments! We are leaving for DLR in 2 weeks!!!

All I'm bringing are some organza chair sashes, a couple of table runners, some tea light candles, guest book cards/box, sand ceremony kit, a few dollar store fans and hopefully my wedding gown!....I had my first fitting 2 weeks ago and they still haven't called. So right now, I don't even know if it fits, if they hemmed it too short for my shoes or when I'm even going in for the 2nd fitting! THAT's what's freaking me out!!!!! aaaahhhhh

When you meet with her she will show you a photo album of other weddings and you get to pick what you want. The colour was perfect for our theme!
Thanks Jenne for getting back so quickly, I had thought of using the lanterns with the battery operated lights in them, but we can't have our meal at the gazebo unless we pay for the silver menu and most of our guests would struggle to find anything they like of the silver menu (lots of picky eaters) so we are having our meal outside on the SSG Deck, so if I'm right there would be nowhere to hang the lanterns with the lights in them, would this be right?

I loved the way the gazebo was decorated for your wedding so I may just go with that, did you get charged for the fabric in the gazebo and chairs? Also the zip lining looks AMAZING, I had not seen that anywhere and know my step kids would love that, do you think it was worth it?

Sorry for asking so many questions :-)

Jenne, thank you so so much once again! The pictures are just perfect!!! Honestly, you made it so much easier for me to envision what I can do with the place.

In regards to picture below, is that still the same SSG deck? If so, did they move the tables out of the way for the dancing or there is so much space left at the end of the deck?

What happens if it rains? Which location do you get moved to?

Thanks sooo much for all your help again!

xoxo

At the right part of this picture is where you would come onto the deck. If you are having your reception on the Seaside Grill Deck, there is plenty of room to dance right on the deck.

Hi Ladies!!

Wondering if anyone can help me!! My husband and I have booked Dreams for our 5 year wedding anniversay and really want to renew our wedding vows while we are there in a very private ceromony, just him, me and our two little girls.

Can anyone give me any tips and advice?

Tiara has very kindly forwarded me some information today but I wondered if any of you brides can help!!

Happy planning everyone!!

Thanks Dolphinluck, much appreciated! You wouldn't by chance have an example pic of the chair options? I like the ones Jenne had and dont need anything fancier...but in my mind, I always thought the white covered chairs are te ones referred to as the tiffany chairs...so if those are included I'm now curious about the other options.

Was it yourself who was considering renting the SSG?

Hi Flowersfizz28;

If you want something really private, I would do both the ceremony and the reception at the Gazebo :)
The Gazebo is in a more secluded area and it is just beautiful; it overlooks the ocean! Also, I read that you can also have the reception dinner at the Gazebo (not sure about the cost; you can ask Tiara) and it only holds up to 12 people so it would be perfect for you.
You can decorate it so beautifully..with lanterns which you can light up at night with led lights!

My wedding is all the way in September so I havent been to the resort yet but I have been researching a lot and planning a lot (pics, info, etc) So if you have any other questions maybe I can help

xoxo

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
