Gah!!!  Too cute!!!!  I happen to be an owl lady maself.....but if I weren't, I think seahorses would be where it's at.  :D  I hosted a workshop for photographers earlier this year and had a game where I strategically hid owls in slideshows, marketing materials, products and even on cookies.  Whoever found and documented the most number of owls throughout the day got half off the next workshop. It was super fun (and funny after a few of them didn't realize they were eating the clues....).

It's could to be like the Where's Waldo of seahorses (ummm....only without the red and white strip shirt and beanie hat)!!!!

Well, Im getting married at beaches, and they have packages you can choose from and I chose a certain package so I dont have too much say in my cake, I mean I like it, Im just not super thrilled about it, but I really love my cake topper and I think it will make the cake more "me" luckily the cake isnt all that important to me so Im not really worried about it, heres a pic, but it will only be two tiers...

Hey Mellie! So far I have booked our wedding date at beaches as well as our room, and we put the down payment on the theme as well, and we booked our photography with Tropical Imaging, you are getting married at beaches as well correct?  What have you booked so far.  We are flying out of Reagan, for some reason my mom perfers that airport so thats why we are flying out of there, plus it is closer for us, we are flying US airway and we connect in NC.

Ugh, my experience with the Running of the Brides was awful but I guess I was expecting something different.  A lot of girls had a good experience though so I certainly wouldn't deter anyone from trying it.  If I were to do it again, I probably would skip the morning insanity and just go in the afternoon when the leftover dresses are back on the racks.  A lot of them ended up on the floor in piles, and it was a mess.  Many of the dresses had marks, missing buttons (which is easily fixable) and just looked yucky.  But, I did see a few that were very pretty, just not what I was looking for.

I started shopping for dresses probably 2 months ago, and I just recently purchased my dress.  It's Private Label By G, Destiny and I love it.  It's exactly what I was looking for and is within my budget.  Just make sure when you go shopping, if you have a budget and don't want to go over, don't try on dresses that are over it.  :o)  Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
