aye yi yi, this past weekend was bad -- it was FI's birthday, so we celebrated on Sat. with my family and on Sun with his family. Yep two bday parties means two cakes, both of which I could not refuse. sad.gif Surprisingly, I ate like a king but when I weighed myself this morning I actually lost 1/2 pound? wtf.gif but we'll have to see what Wed. weigh-in brings....*keeping fingers crossed* that cake does not decide to make an appearance on my ass at the last minute, lol BangHead.gif

I had a pig out weekend too!

At this point I'm happy with a no gain week. I don't know what I'm going to have to do to kick my ass into high gear?!? In my head I think I want to lose weight, I'm just having a problem with motivation.

This is me too! I want to lose weight, but I don't follow thru and do something about it like I should. Or, if I have a good day it just balances out a bad day. I wish one of you lived down the street from me and could make me workout. :)

I was doing so good, until saturday afternoon, I went to a 2 year olds birthday party. I had two small pieces of pizza and some salad. But when I left Steve asked me to pick him up a pizza and of course I was still starving, so I had some of that pizza too! And to top it off, since I didn't have cake and ice cream at the party, I decided that Ben & Jerry's was in order!

What the hell is wrong with me!!!

Anyway, I got myself back on track yesterday (sunday wasn't horrible, but I won't say it was great either) so I'm hoping that I'll at least stay the same and not gain!!

hmmm...I had my first bridal shower on Saturday and my BM's had it at my house. They kicked me out on Friday night while they came in and cleaned. I went out with some other friends and STAYED OUT UNTIL 4AM DRINKING!!! Who does that the night before their shower? Luckily I was fine in the morning. I went out in the morning for a mani pedi and when I came back to get ready they greeted me with a bottle of champagne and sent me upstairs. The drinking did not stop until about 9PM ON SUNDAY!!! Needless to say, I was naughty :)

I so have to vent. I want to pull out my hair. My f'n car pooped out on me. I was on the freeway for an hour waiting for a stupid tow truck. Finally on my way to work I had to get something to eat I was starving and have not eaten all day. I went to Burger King. WTF. Seriously....Now I cant get home to change before the Elton John concert. I feel like a big junk in the truck gross person who is very pissed off.

Hi ladies! I just got back from Puerto Vallarta Mexico for my site visit. I had so much fun. I also ate tons and drank lots of margaritas! I'm hoping all the walking around will save me some. Crossing my fingers that I don't gain!

Swine flu notes: Had I lived under a rock before going to Mexico I never would have known about the flu. We went to town, had meetings with caterers, rode the bus everywhere, etc. It was as if the flu didn't exist. The only time it came up was in the airport. I had to fill out a health survey and have my temp taken before I was cleared to leave Mexico. I passed and proudly wore my "Libre de influenza!" sticker. :)

So, how did it go this week everyone? I made a real effort to eat better this week after last week's sad results. I lost 2 pounds! DH did much better...but he's been working out every day AND eating awesome. Geez- why can't I be motivated like him?

Right now I'm mostly just using portion control. I don't stick well to any kind of diet, so I'm just eating what I would normally eat, just WAY less, and trying to make better choices when presented with the opportunity.

Where is everybody? The thread can't slow down this much already. Its too early in the contest!

So, I gained, but it was expected because I've been the biggest slacker EVER. Its like the thought of knowing I want to change my eating habits is making me eat everything that I know is bad. If that makes sense. Like, I gotta get it in before I tell myself I can't have it any more. I gotta change my thinking.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
