Gee - thanks. Make me look like the bad guy.... :-) Glad it was motivating for you at least. Once you get the gym membership up and running it will be way easier for you too.

Keep it up girlie!

Oh lady, you are the good guy!!!! I needed that type of motivation so keep it coming! I'm soooo sore today! But I'm off to work out this afternoon and hopefully it will loosen me up a bit!

So girls, yesterday I tracked my meals and exercise on an app on my iPod. Just eating healthy is going to help SO much. last season i worked out 5 days out of the whole season. I lost 15lbs all due to changing my eating habits and eating healthier. But yesterday was REAL proof for me.

So yesterday morning for breakfast I had 1 pancake 2 fried eggs and a glass of water. total that was about 270 calories

Then for lunch I was running around the house and just decided to eat 1 slice of cake and some chips and a glass of diet iced green tea. Total taht was about 535 calories

Then I had a snack of graham crackers, nutella, and a Diet Dr Pepper (real healthy!) Calories: 355

Then for dinner I had a large salad and Diet iced Green Tea Calories: 302

I couldn't believe the difference of calorie intake when I actually sat down and ate something good. Not to mention how much better you feel when you do. Of course we need to splurge every now and then to keep our sanity, but I am going to REALLY challenge each girl to change your eating habits to eating healthier. I didn't even really eat anything SUPER healthy, but it was the only that carried me through yesterday!

Good luck girls!

Thanks, all! But to be honest, I think I am going to try just playing along and see if that's motivation enough - jsut the weighing in every week. And I can't forget to weigh in while I'm hosting this, so I know I can't slack off! My goal is to trim and tone more than it is to lose weight anyway, so I wouldn't be much competition. I wouldn't mind losing 10lbs, but it's more about the squishiness!

Well, due to some last minute additions (a couple DH's have joined us!) the pot is likely to be closer to $600! I have about 3-4 more people (don't have the spreadsheet in front of me) with money on the way, and I will post the final participant list.

I have ranted about this to FI. I didn't even realize the guys were allowed to join. Although their are a few grooms on the forum and in the show there are both sexes. I am kinda down everytime I hear about one of the guys cause they DEFINITELY will lose much easier than us.

Just a thought maybe we could have the guys money go into a separate pot and the guys competing w/ each other.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a downer either, but I didn't even know they could join or that it was discussed and its really a downer for me. Joe could lose the weight I'm trying to in just a couple weeks. Now i know its based on percentage, but Joe could easily drop in no time flat w/ hardly trying while i'm working my ass off

I'm curious to hear what you other girls think

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
