So!!!! excited! just ordered my guestbook from Blurb!

Hope it turns out good!

instead of photos from us, I purchased a few photos from the internet of puerto vallarta, and put those photos on the right hand side (I wanted to create more of a coffee table book so we can keep it out all the time). on the left hand side, there will be lines for guests to write notes to us. and at the header of each page is a quote - a quote about marriage, some funny, some sweet. I love it!

I had some really funny quotes

and on the inside flap, I wrote a little dedication to my FI

Happy Monday girls! We finished our registry this weekend! Yea for getting that nonsense done (I didn't want to register but my mom insisted so I had been totally procrastinating). Note to self... never give Brett the scanner again - he honestly tried to put Mountain Dew on the list! Also finished the invites and just need to mail them.

As a side note I asked my resort about what kind of Christmas decorations they usually have up in December. They don't do a lot except for a small tree and some stuff in the lobby.

Autumn, thats funny! we just finished registering too!

Well, I registered a long time ago at Kohl's and Traveler's Joy honeymoon website.

We really don't want people spending money on presents, but I realized for the bridal shower etc I'm going to need to register for things.

I want to cancel my Kohl's account though! does anyone know if I just call them to cancel?!

I changed our registry for Crate & Barrel, Target, and Macy's (macy's only for china) and still Traveler's Joy. I really hope our parents get in on the china together.... :)

It's fun!

check!

Oh, and I was in thousand oaks area this past weekend, and I picked up my earrings and fake hair piece for the wedding! (hahaha!) I put the hair in and then went up to my aunt to show her and she didn't even realize I had a piece in - she thought it was my real hair! I'll post pics later!

We aren't registering but our parents keeping nagging us to do so too.. oh well. They can figure it out.

I got our travel mugs delivered on friday and i was *slightly* disappointed. The logo is just smaller than I want it to be.. FI likes them and says its good cause we didnt want something big anyways. Whatever, I guess the purpose of them is to keep the drinks cold/frozen and that will still happen.

Im at a standstill otherwise i think!

We're getting married in Cozumel on Dec 10th... we just got engaged and started planning a month ago, so I feel like I'm behind, but the plans are moving ahead fast. The wedding coordinator at the resort has been fantastic and she's handling most of the arrangements with an email to me here and there about needing a decision on something. So far we've got:

-our travel booked

-wedding day itinerary set

-bridesmaids/groomsmen set

-reception sunset cruise booked

-STDs went out 3 weeks ago

-starting my formal invites now

-purchased about 1/2 of the items for OOT bags (there are shopping bags all over our guest room... no time to put the OOT bags together yet!)

-colors picked

-logo done.... but now thinking about changing it

-meeting with site & caterers this week to make a decision on AHR reception

Whew... I feel like I have a ton left to do and just 4 months to do it!!

I just have so many people telling me they are coming - probably at least 20 more guests, and they still haven't booked. I'm like, "what are you waiting for?! I don't think rates are going to get any cheaper!"

I have learned that when I just stop worrying, that is when guests book.

We sent out about 180 invites, with 19 "No"s and "22" booked

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
