Thank you so much!! I will surely take note of this when ordering for my FI, I didn't see a place where they had measurements for the forearm. I can see how that caused a problem for you. Did you choose the Classic Comfort Fit for the Trouser fit option?

Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but we still haven't received the suit. Apparently it is stuck in customs and has been there for over 2 weeks. The joys of ordering from overseas. I'll post an update once it arrives!

They don't have an option for forearm measurements. I think they make an educated guess based off the other measurements. If you know your guys has really big biceps or something you may want to add that in the comment box. I added that my guy has an athletic build and not portly because that's the problem he encounters trying to buy off the rack. They assume his wide shoulders mean he also has a wide waist, which he doesn't.

We finally ordered the suit for the wedding and went with Natural Linen and he ordered another in Black linen just to have. They both came in and they look great! We changed the fit on the pants to "Semi Baggy" and they now have an option where you can put in a fixed measuremnt for the knee and thigh so we did that using his favorite pair or pants and they totally fit the same. I love Studio Suits now!

I wish we had seen this earlier, I doubt we have time, but it sounds awesome! My FI really needs custom everything--he's a big football player! We did find a suit we liked luckily, can get it in within a couple days, so we haven't ordered, but need to this week. I think he would have loved this though!

Thats awesome. We ordered FIs on June 26th and it has been stuck in customs since July 13th. Called last Friday and they told us it would ship Monday. Called today and they told us it would next Monday. I'm annoyed. We have time, but I'm anxious to see how it turned out!

Okay so we just got ours and my FI tried it on and it's not too bad. We are obviously measuring tape impaired and weren't too accurate on the pants. I think we measured the bum/crotch area wrong. The jacket is a near perfect fit! Just needs to come up about 1.5" in the length, again a measuring issue on our end. We kind of started guessing and adding .5" here and there.

My tip...measure accurately the first time, LOL. Or have professional measurements done and save yourself the trouble.

We bought the pure Irish linen and overall my FI loves how light-weight it is and how the jacket fits. Sorry no pics just yet, he said I can take them once we alter the pants! I think it will look great once we fix our little mistakes smile29.gif

I second the measuring comment! Since we have 11 (yes ELEVEN) groomsmen ordering suits, I had to stress over and over to make sure they got the correct measurements or had it done professionally. So far, we only had one groomsman goof up. He wears a 38/39 sleeve regularly so that's what the thought his sleeve length was; he didn't actually measure! So his sleeves came like 10 inches too long for his arm. The photo he sent was hilarious! Everything else fit good though so he's just going to get that part tailored.
