Hi Everyone!

 

My name is Nichole, my husband Chris and I live in Grand Junction CO.

 

We recently moved here with our kids from Alberta, Canada. After moving DH re-proposed to me with a beautiful new ring. We decided to have our wedding in Puerto Vallarta (close too anyway) because we love it there and it would be a nice place for our friends and family from Canada to go as well as affordable for them.

 

We are having our ceremony and reception at the hotel with the dreams of love package (Dreams Villamagna) and I am just at the point of giving up trying to deal with the wc over e-mail and just wait till we get down there. The one detail I am trying to work out for sure is hiring a DJ. I've had a quote for $400 and the resort has quoted me $727.37 (I am waiting to hear if I can bring in an outside DJ). I am also trying to decide if I should use the resort photographer or hire a photographer.

 

If anyone has stayed at this resort I would love to hear from you as it is new and there isn't alot of info. Or if you have any advice or info feel free to share.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
